J. Levine Auction & Appraisal donates $2,500 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This supports the National Auctioneers Associations 5-year, $500,000 goal.
PHOENIX, Ariz. (November 20, 2018) –
J. Levine Auction & Appraisal closed out an amazing auction on November 11, 2018. The auction featured over 300 lots and well over 1,000 bottles of wine from Donovan’s Steak & Chop House, previously located on Camelback Road in Phoenix, Arizona. The landmark restaurant recently closed and J. Levine was commissioned to sell their inventory. For buyers, it was a rare opportunity to collect fine wines for their personal collection.
The National Auctioneers Association (NAA), an auction advocacy and education group, has a 22-year partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and an ongoing pledge to support the fight against childhood cancer. Last year they announced their newest goal, a five-year, $500,000 commitment with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in addition to their continued events. As a proud member of the NAA, Josh Levine, owner and CEO of J. Levine Auction & Appraisal, wanted to do his part. A total of $2,500 from J. Levine’s proceeds were donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in an effort to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
“I’m honored to be able to help such a noble cause and be part of a community that believes in supporting others, ” said Josh Levine, owner of J. Levine Auction & Appraisal.
This donation is not the first of its kind. J. Levine Auction & Appraisal has donated thousands of dollars to OCJ Kids, a local charity that equips foster and at-risk youth with tools, resources, and positive role models to succeed in life. Josh Levine is also a regular at charity auctions around the valley. He has offered his services to Tip-a-Cop for Special Olympics Arizona, Comfy Cozy for Chemo, and Pitch For Kidz among other charity auctions.
