Tips for consigning
Selling At Auction
Whether you’re downsizing, inherited an estate or cleaning out the attic, auctions are a great alternative to selling yourself and traditional estate sales. Selling rare collectibles through secondary markets like eBay, or priced to sell estate sales can be tricky. This is especially true if you’re unsure about the history or authenticity surrounding your pieces. To get the most out of your belongings we start with free consultations with our caring and knowledgeable specialists. Instead of searching for a buyer yourself or negotiating with questionable dealers, our team will give you their honest opinion backed with market knowledge, answer any questions you have and guide you through the process. Since we’re commission based, we always provide honest feedback and have your best interest at heart. When your items go up for auction they’re exposed to our database of 13,000+ registered, excited and vetted bidders from every state and over 70 countries. This reach ensures full market exposure. In addition, we promote our auctions through print, email and social media campaigns curated by our in house marketing team.
Expert tip: Even if you are set on an estate sale or selling the items yourself, we always recommend consulting an outside expert. This additional feedback can help you identify special pieces and verify you’re getting a fair deal.
